What you will see

  • USV video and data in the operator view
  • Teleoperation and autonomous route following
  • Obstacle- and depth-aware route planning on nautical charts
  • Coordination of several vessels
  • DTC + Mesh+ connectivity

How it works

NOMAD reads vessel data over NMEA and STANAG 4817 and loads S-57/S-63/S-101 charts rendered to S-52, so routes are planned around shallow water and charted obstacles.

The operator assigns routes, teleoperates any vessel and coordinates several USVs over DTC + Mesh+. STANAG 4817 covers control of the unmanned systems; STANAG 4818 robot-to-robot connectivity is a separate standard. Workflows are ECDIS-compatible; no certification is claimed.
